Lighthouse Children’s Groups @ School Room, Rodney Hall
Jan 28 @ 10:45 am – 11:45 am

Our thriving children’s ministry, providing Bible-centred, fun, safe, life-relevant and age-appropriate groups for each child to grow in their walk with God. During the 2nd half of of our Sunday Morning service, the children go to their Lighthouse groups:
Creche (0-3yrs)
Fireflies (3yrs-School Yr R)
Sparklers (School Yrs 1-3)
Spotlight (School Yrs 4-6) We seek to teach Biblical truths, how each part fits into the bigger picture of the Bible story and how it points to Jesus. We also do fun activities and have weeks when we are all together and do something a little different. We want our young people to see and understand that the Bible is real and relevant to us today.

Sunday Youth @ Upper Room
Jan 28 @ 10:45 am – 11:45 am

We aim to grow disciples who will last! We equip young people to live the Christian life on a daily basis, and we teach them God’s word faithfully, memorably and relevantly. As we do so we address issues that influence them. We seek to disciple our young people as they face many challenges and decisions so that they too will serve the Lord and grow in their relationship with Him, having a hunger and passion to study His word and reach others. Sundays during our morning service [10:30am start]. Young people come to the start of the service and then leave part-way through for their group. Hope Explored Course @ Upper Room
Jan 30 @ 7:30 pm – 9:00 pm

What is Hope Explored? There are few emotions more powerful than hope. But these days, hope often feels hard to come by. Where can we find a hope that won’t disappoint us? Hope Explored looks at the life, death and resurrection of Jesus in Luke’s Gospel, this three-session series shows that there is real hope for you: a joyful expectation for the future, based on true events in the past, which changes everything about my present. If you’re unsure, just come along … you can leave after any session, no obligation. What can I expect from the Hope Explored course? Each session will start around a cup of coffee / tea and some cake (cake is always helpful!!) as we gather together. After an short introduction from your group leader we will look at a bit of what the Bible has to say about Hope, a video that will help to expand on the ideas we are looking at in the session. After watching the video you will then move into discussion time where you ask questions about what you have just heard – or about anything you like really! How do I attend? >Just register here to sign up, or just come along Where do I go? We are meeting in the ‘Upper Room’ – this is a room with sofas and an area to make tea/coffee … it’s relaxed and informal. You come in by going to our ‘Rodney Hall’ entrance on Rodney Road – enter through the Blue door and through the double doors and then proceed to the staircase and go upstairs where you will find the room. If you would rather be met at the door, just say so in the sign-up notes.
